At Peak Physio Peakhurst, our aim is to help you TREAT, RECOVER and MAINTAIN your health goals holistically and in the quickest way possible.

We use a variety of HANDS ON MANUAL THERAPIES, EXERCISE PRESCRIPTION, MOVEMENT ANALYSIS, TAPING and BRACING where required to get you feeling better.

We are firm believers in injury prevention and love educating our patients on how they can apply this to their sport, hobbies and lifestyle.

Natasha

Natasha Portrait

Principal Physiotherapist

Our principal physiotherapist Tash graduated in 2013 from The University of Sydney and has since worked in a variety of environments. Tash has been based in private practice for nearly 10 years and also has extensive experience as a team physiotherapist in high level soccer, rugby union and NSW gymnastics. Here she has gained expertise in managing children and young adults in high level sport, appreciating the demands of training and competition on the growing body.

Tash has a keen interest in treating pre and post natal women, after welcoming her own daughter Olivia in 2020, she has a strong understanding of how important prevention and early intervention is to many women’s health issues.

Natasha has worked in the hospital setting, providing rehab to post operative patients after orthopaedic surgery. She is passionate about using a combination of manual therapy and exercise to improve patient’s quality of life.

Natasha is currently completing her Masters of Sports and Exercise Physiotherapy.

In her spare time, you will find Natasha cooking whilst enjoying a red or running around after her daughter.

Matthew

Matthew Nashid Physiotherapist

Doctor of Physiotherapy

Matt graduated from Macquarie University with a Doctorate of Physiotherapy. He also has a Bachelor degree in Chiropractic Science, which he completed prior to finding his true love of Physio. Matt brings a wealth of knowledge from working at several hospitals and has a keen interest in lower limb injuries.

Matt is passionate about exercise and sport, with a particular love for soccer, being an enthusiastic goalkeeper himself. Outside of soccer, he is a keen gym goer with a particular interest in strength & conditioning and calisthenics training. Matt incorporates this background knowledge into the rehab of his patients.

Outside of physio, Matt spends a lot of his time with family and friends.

Andrew

Sports Physiotherapist

Andrew graduated in 2012 from The University of Sydney and began his journey in private practice. In that time Andrew has been the team Physiotherapist for a number of semi-professional and elite sporting teams including the NRL Parramatta Eels, NSW Cup Wentworthville Magpies and The National Cook Islands Rugby League side.

With his strong knowledge of diagnosing and treating sporting and musculoskeletal injuries Andrew has run his own educational physiotherapy courses for physio students, helping them in their clinical skills.

In 2017, Andrew embarked upon completing his Masters of Physiotherapy at La Trobe University, from which he graduated in 2019. This qualification is one of distinction and allows Andrew to diagnose and comprehensively treat injuries at an advanced level.

Andrew currently works closely with many orthopaedic specialists in the St George, Canterbury- Bankstown area and is well versed in post-operative care.

In his spare time, Andrew is a family man who loves a DIY job around the house or a hit of golf.
