Do I need a Doctors referral to access Physiotherapy?

No. Seeing a Physiotherapist does not require a Doctors referral. There are a few government schemes which result in subsided Physiotherapy treatment however it is best to discuss this with your treating Dr.

Where can I park?

There is ample parking at the front of the practice on Ogivly Street. 

How long is an appointment?

Appointments are 45 minutes for an initial and 30 minutes for a follow-up. For Women’s health appointments, initials are 1 hour and followups 45 minutes in length.

How much is a session?

For general appointments initials are $100 (45 mins) and follow ups $90 (30 mins).

Women’s health appointments are $120 (1 hour) for initials and $110 (45 mins) for followups.

For complex presentations or multiple areas it is $100 (45 mins)

Do you bulk bill EPC sessions?
At the moment we don’t have the means to bulk bill, but of course we will accept an Enhanced Care Plan (EPC) provided by your GP alternatively we can perform HICAPs claims on the spot for you if you have private health insurance.
What should I wear and bring?

Loose clothing that comfortable exposes the area of concern is best. E.g exercise shorts and a singlet. If you forget however, we will have some spare at the clinic.

Please bring along any letters from doctors/specialists, radiology reports and any relevent scans.

Can Physio's refer for imaging?

Yes we can! We hope your time with us is as streamlined as possible. If there is concern we can provide you with a referral to have a scan done at one of the local radiology sites. There are some instances where it is more cost effective to get a referral from our treating GP – we will let you know when this is the case!

What is your cancellation policy?

For cancellations within 24hrs, a $40 cancellation fee applies. This does not apply to circumstances of sickness, COVID or emergencies, so please contact the clinic as soon as you are able.

Do you have Hicaps?

We have a HICAPS machine in clinic. Please bring along your private health fund card if you have one, as we will be able to perform an on the spot claim for you.
